last summer... was a summer full of change, excitement, and anticipation.
this summer... will probably be the same. Because everything's changing, and I can't seem to hold on to anything. and when I find something (someone) that I finally seemed to grasp onto, it turns around and leaves. weather because it (they) has to to, or it's just time to go, it always seems to happen.
and I hang on to memories. these snapshots of life...
turned upside down.
and sometimes I wish i could freeze time and live this summer forever. Because my biggest fear is August, when everything changes once again.

haven't updated in a while, have I? no, I don't think I have. hmmm well...
I have a track meet yesterday.... my relay/ medley thing got 4th
I was the anchor.
the "sprint medley", as my race was called, (it was a relay meet) is, well, a medley of sprints. (there's also a distance medley if you were wondering) the first leg is a 100m, the second another 100m, the third a 200m, and the fourth a 400m.
I, of course, ran the 400m in it and jacked my leg up somemore. and I'm sure long-jumping helped with that too.
oh well.
I have offically scheduled my classes for next year.
I am auditing band, having no lunch, and taking 8 classes.
call me crazy.
but I love it.
(no icons today... my computer is screwed)

ha! snow day! but of course, I knew that yesterday at around 10:50. because Ashley called Reilly. because SNOW DAYS ARE AWESOME!!!!!! ahhh it felt so liberating to know we didn't have school today. I stayed up until past 2 talking to Vybhav and helping him argue with Melissa.
I went outside and made a snow angel today
sounds ordinary, right?
NOT!
I went out in SOFFE SHORTS AND A CAMI and made a snow angel. I have pictures to prove it. it was, like, 8 degrees out mind you. it was FUN!

well.... I got my hair cut a week ago today
I'm on level 22 in o.facile
tomorrow is national crepe day in France
I totally guessed the above statement in French today, and I was totally right. it was awesome. ask Jeff
the band party is tomorrow. that I'm being forced to go to
I'm scared of next year
my heart has gone insane

today was a random ok day
yesterday and Tuesday....

ok
total midterm exam overload
and it hasn't even started. it's not that I'm worried about them, it's just that I needed a break from studying Geometery. ahhhhh I only have two exams tomorrow, two Wednesday ('cause I don't have to take the World History exam. 'cause I'm awesome. so ha.) and two Thursday. and guess what I get to do Thursday? Go to V's and play in the sunshine. hahahhahahha (no one on here is going to get that. dangit)
wow, I've done so much since I've last updated. it's kind of scarey. Ok, I need to dry my hair. and study. and sleep. and smile.

what the hell is hell week?
hell week is this week. the last week before the band's last chance to get a one, and go to state. NEVER wear jeans during hell week.
exspecially if it's hot.

well, we tied Marietta Saturday! WE LOVE YOU GABBY!!!!!!!!

the band festival was canceled.
we marched in with the bands, then proptly marched into the school for our safety.
now, let me tell you something. I hate storms when I'm not at home, church, or another place I know really well. and I freaked out, so bad at the festival. I was all but crying into Andrew, who was beside me, Kelli, who was also beside me and also kinda freaked out, and Jessie. exspecially Jessie. I love them all so much, exspecially Jessie. they did everything they could to calm me down and make me laugh. and Andrew didn't even complain when I grabbed his arm (and probably dug my fingernails in) when the lights went out. (they came back on, thank God.) it was really bad.

the soccer team lost yesterday, and I wasn't even at the game because of band. dangit
the band didn't get a 1, but, oh well, it was muddy, and really hard to march. but our music kicked butt! lol
after the contest yesterday Jessie, Burns, Mrs. Scott, Chris, Lindsey and I went to Steak & Shake and the rest of the band followed. it was fun! then i spent the night at Jessie's and we got in a fight with her T.V., because it was totally ghey. lol
mk, well, I'm done..

I'm back from band camp, soccer "tryouts" are over, the band's playing tomorrow at the fair, we have a soccer scrimmage tomorrow, and... my hair's curly

hey!!! this is my last entry before soccer tournaments and maybe before band camp if I don't get the time to update before we leave Sunday! I'll miss you all!
it is going to be a very WET tournament. YAY! why do I say yay? because I LOVE playing in the rain. it's AWESOME. and, all the teams I've been on, when we play in a rain we play hard, get dirty, and win. that does not include when it is raining snow. that does not count lol.
I've partially packed for band camp, for which I am leaving Sunday at 12:30, the day after I get back for tournaments. I'm excited, but kinda scared. I mean, EIGHT hours of MARCHING a day? I'm gonna come back with some HARD calf muscles. I mean, they're already really toned, but, gosh, EIGHT hours of MARCHING??????
